Stay Classy, The Jackass Slimeball

T. J. Simers of the Los Angeles Times is a living, breathing mother fucking jagoff douchebag jackass in the vein of Comedian Boss Limbaugh if he had brains.  He hates Philadelphia for no reason whatsoever in the vein of W.C. Fields.  And Fields was actually a native Philadelphian.

Don't believe me?  Here's his comments about the Phillie Phanatic the last two nights, plus a cheap shot at not only our fans, but also those of the Yankees:

"Nowhere in America are people more angry than those living here. During Game 3 they had their humorless furry mascot put on boxing gloves and take on someone who was supposed to be an L.A. fan, sunglasses, cellphone and all.

"The furry mascot punched him out, much to the delight of the folks here who love a dash of violence with their sports entertainment.

"During Game 4 the furry mascot took a small Dodgers blue helmet, placed it on the ground and then pulverized it, much to the delight of the locals. Same tired skits, by the way, they employed a year ago.

"But this is considered entertainment here, the only bright spot if they draw the Yankees now, getting a look in the mirror at fans who might remind them of themselves."

Send a long FUCKYOUDOUCHEBAG to t.j.simers@latimes.com for all of us, and Stay Classy, you fucktard.

  1. He hates Philadelphia for no reason whatsoever.

You're absolutely sure that the way last year's and this year's NLCS has absolutely nothing to do with his hating of Philadelphia? I know that if the rolls in the past 2 years were reverse, I'd probably be writing the same thing about the Dodgers and Manny and Chavez Ravine and what not.

And your anger at him and call to send angry emails to the guy only makes his argument seem like a more valid one.

  2. And this has gone on sine the 2001 NBA Finals! Let's face it, the man is a fucktard.

  3. Sometimes you have to let people like him just go away. He's a sports columnist in another city, he can say whatever he wants and can make his jokes and say whatever he wants. If you have such a disdain for him, then why do you read his columns. True that I occasionally go to fan blogs and newspapers of other teams, especially after a loss to a Philly one, to see what is being said (if for no other reason for hilarity, and Simers' line about Sherill belonging on a deserted island was epicly hilarious)

You're over-the-top reaction does nothing but feed into him, his beliefs about Philly fans, whatever they may be. I certainly hope you did not send him an email (btw, what exactly is a "fucktard"?) insulting someone with made up names/words does nothing but make yourself look bad; it does not show anybody off), for if you did, he probably opened it up, saw your "insults" and laughed his fucking head off screaming to his wife/colleagues, "HAHA! Check out what this douche bag Philly fan sent me! This is great!" and pretty soon you are unknowingly the butt of every joke at the LA Times

I've criticized my share of sports columnists and will continue to do in the future, but criticize them for mistakes, biasness if they are a national columnist, somehting worth criticizing him about, not what an LA columnist thinks about Philly fans after watching his team be on the wrong side of an 11-0 ass-whooping and the epic double by J-Roll to steal a win from the Dodgers and instead of an even series with the Dodgers having re-earned home field advantage, they are down 3-1 and the air has been completely taken out of their fanbase (I've read several Dodgers blogs the past few days; they're down in the dumps 10 times more than last year) and quite possibly the team

Besides in that NBA Finals, the Sixers actually beat the sacred Lakers in Game 1. I'm shocked that you expect him to look at Philly differently. He's going to have his views, just let him have them and don't let what he writes bother you.

The Phillies gave the Dodgers and all of their fans the ultimate kick in the nads (/MXC'd), suckerpunch in the face, slap across the cheek, whatever you want to call it. Let that be win enough and you'll find yourself much happier and much more satisfied.
